Jian Ghomeshi was selected as the speaker for the Kevin Manion Lecture Series. On May 6th his presentation covered "Diversity and Inclusiveness in Education and Our Community". It was a very successful evening.
In the afternoon of May 6th Students from around the board attended a workshop at Centennial Secondary School. Presentations were made from local organizations such as Quinte United Immigrant Services, Tyendinaga Mohawks, and Shout Out Loud where students were given the opportunity to see how local organizations support an inclusive approach in our community.
