Wab Kinew is a well known musician, educator, journalist and broadcaster.
He is known to many FNMI teachers as the narrator of the critically acclaimed documentary, 8th Fire.
Mr. Kinew also provided the introduction to OSSTF’s Common Threads teacher resource, Full Circle: First Nations, Metis, Inuit Ways of Knowing.
The community forum, preceded by an afternoon session with teachers and students took place on May 1, 2014.
